Aaron Young, the youngest member of the Romsey Bowling Club, took out the Club Championship with a 25 to 12 shots win against Rod Schwarzenberg on Sunday.__________          Click on image to enlarge.

An observer commented: - "How proud are we of the maturity he displayed in such a big game for a young (YOUNG) man of his age. He kept a cool head and was happy to give away one shot to his opponent and      get the second instead of playing the heavy flashy shot trying to move the shot bowl out. He played so well."

Aaron's Mum, her mother and father, his Dad, his brothers and sisters, and an Aunt and Uncle were all there to enjoy his triumph. Attending Club mmembers also enjoyed the game.

Shirley Hummel was successful in the Ladies Champ of Champs played at Kilmore Wednesday 19/01/2011.

In the first round Shirley our Ladies Club Champion played against Pearl Aykens, Kilmore's Club Champion and recorded a 25 to 22 shots win.

In the second round against Whittlesea's Barbara Chambers, Shirley was again successful with a 25 to 17 shots scoreline.     Shirley will again front for the semi finals on the 8th February.

Guess who is bragging, they got the magic 8. Well done Ladies.
